Terms of Service – WeHirely

Welcome to WeHirely – a digital services marketplace connecting freelance professionals (“Freelancers”) with businesses and individuals (“Buyers”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of www.wehirely.com (“WeHirely”, “we”, “our”, or “us”).
Please read these Terms carefully. By registering or using the platform, you agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Overview
WeHirely is a platform where users can create freelance profiles, offer services (“Gigs”), and collaborate on projects. We provide tools to facilitate communication, secure payment processing, and project delivery, but we are not a party to contracts between users.
2. User Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use WeHirely.
You may not use the site if your account has been suspended or banned in the past.
Users must register for an individual or business account to access features.
You agree to provide accurate and complete information during registration.
3. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.
All activity under your account is your responsibility.
You may not impersonate another person or organization.
You may not open multiple accounts to bypass restrictions.
4. Marketplace Structure
Freelancers:
May offer services (“Gigs”) in predefined or custom categories.
Must deliver work according to deadlines and agreed-upon terms.
Must not request or accept payment outside the platform.
Buyers:
May browse freelancer services and place orders.
Are responsible for paying for services in advance through the platform.
May request revisions as outlined in the Gig description.
5. Payment Terms
All payments are processed through WeHirely’s secure system via Stripe, PayPal, or other supported gateways.
Freelancers are paid after order delivery and buyer approval, subject to a clearance period (typically 7–14 days).
WeHirely charges a platform service fee (see Pricing) deducted from each transaction.
Disbursement of funds is subject to identity verification and compliance checks.
6. Cancellations & Disputes
Buyers and freelancers may mutually cancel an order before delivery.
Disputes must be submitted to WeHirely support within 5 days of delivery.
WeHirely will investigate disputes and issue a resolution at its discretion.
Orders may be cancelled by WeHirely for:
Late delivery
Failure to meet service description
Inappropriate behavior or communication
7. Prohibited Activities
Users may not:
Share personal contact details to bypass WeHirely’s payment system.
Post false, misleading, or fraudulent content.
Harass, abuse, or threaten others.
Use the platform for illegal or adult content.
Violate intellectual property rights.
8. Intellectual Property
Freelancers retain rights to their original content until full payment is made.
Upon payment, the buyer gains exclusive usage rights unless otherwise agreed.
You may not copy, modify, or distribute another user’s work without permission.
9. Confidentiality
Users agree not to disclose or use confidential information shared during the project for any purpose outside the scope of the service.
Both parties are encouraged to sign NDAs for sensitive projects.
10. Termination
WeHirely reserves the right to:
Suspend or terminate accounts for policy violations.
Remove content that violates the Terms.
Withhold payments if fraud or abuse is suspected.
Users may close their accounts at any time, subject to the resolution of any ongoing transactions or disputes.
11. Disclaimers
WeHirely does not guarantee the quality or outcome of services rendered by freelancers.
The platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind.
We are not liable for user behavior, project results, or financial losses.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, WeHirely is not liable for:
Losses of profits, revenues, data, or goodwill
Service interruptions or unauthorized access
Disputes between users
Total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the buyer for the disputed Gig.
13. Modifications
WeHirely may revise these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after updates constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
14. Governing Law
